Abstract

Modern urban development requires fundamentally new approaches to integrating construction equipment with the emerging smart infrastructure. This research focuses on the development of the architecture of interaction and data exchange protocols between construction machinery and elements of smart urban infrastructure. The paper proposes a multi-level integration model that takes into account the requirements for security, scalability and fault tolerance of systems. Based on the analysis of existing solutions and identified limitations, an original protocol has been developed that ensures seamless interaction of construction equipment with urban information systems. The approbation of the proposed solutions at three experimental sites confirmed a significant increase in the efficiency of construction work.: reduced operating time by 22.7%, reduced energy consumption by 18.4% and increased positioning accuracy by 34.6%. The developed technology stack has demonstrated a high degree of compatibility with existing urban IoT systems while maintaining the required performance indicators. The results obtained are of practical importance for the modernization of the construction industry and the development of the concept of smart construction in the context of sustainable urban development.
