Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the introduction of innovative robotic technologies in the construction and installation of oil and gas infrastructure facilities. The relevance of the topic is due to the growing need of the industry to improve the efficiency, safety and environmental friendliness of production operations. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the potential of robotic systems in optimizing construction and installation work and identify key areas for their integration. The methods of statistical analysis, expert assessments, and technical and economic modeling were used in the work. The empirical base consists of data on the 35 largest oil and gas projects in 2019-2023. It has been revealed that the use of robots allows for a 25-30% reduction in QMS time, a 15-20% reduction in costs, and a 40-45% increase in labor productivity. It has been established that the greatest effect is achieved with complex robotization of welding, painting, and loading and unloading operations (robotization coefficient 0.78). The factors constraining the large-scale introduction of robots are identified: high initial investments, shortage of qualified personnel, insufficient unification of technologies. The practical significance of the results is related to the possibility of their use in the development of digital transformation strategies for oil and gas companies. Prospects for further research are seen in the creation of economic and mathematical models for optimizing robotic production systems in the oil and gas industry.
