Abstract

This paper analyzes state-of-the-art methods and technologies for scalable storage of construction equipment and machinery state data in construction project management systems. A systematic review of key approaches is conducted, including centralized and distributed relational DBMS, NoSQL solutions, Event Sourcing and CQRS patterns for equipment operation logging, and CRDT technologies for data synchronization between construction sites. Evaluation criteria for storage system effectiveness are established: consistency of machine state information, scalability with growing equipment fleets, monitoring operation latency, fault tolerance in construction site conditions, and information system operational costs. Based on experimental tests simulating concurrent operation of multiple construction machinery units, a comparative analysis of selected storage technologies is performed. Results are presented as detailed performance comparisons and substantiated recommendations for selecting optimal architectural solutions for various construction production scenarios. The practical significance lies in developing methodological guidelines for designing fault-tolerant and scalable construction equipment management systems considering modern requirements for construction industry digitalization.
