<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Exploration of rare earth elements (REE) is associated with significant interference in geological structures, which leads to a violation of the integrity of rock formations and environmental damage. This study is aimed at developing and evaluating the effectiveness of biomimetic robotic systems that simulate the mechanisms of movement and perception of the environment characteristic of burrowing organisms in order to minimize the destructive effects on geological formations during exploration. The study used an integrated approach, including computer modeling, laboratory prototype testing, and field experiments under controlled conditions. The developed biomimetic systems demonstrated a 38,7% reduction in energy consumption and a 42,3% reduction in vibration effects on surrounding rocks compared to traditional mechanisms. The system of bioinspired sensors ensured the accuracy of identification of REE-containing structures at the level of 89,4%, which exceeds the indicators of standard methods by 27,6%. Field tests confirmed a 56,2% reduction in the volume of disturbed rocks while maintaining equivalent productivity. The economic analysis showed a potential reduction in the cost of reclamation of territories by 43,8% with the introduction of the proposed technologies. The results of the study indicate the high potential of biomimetic approaches for the transformation of exploration technologies towards more environmentally friendly and cost-effective methods consistent with the principles of sustainable development of the extractive industry.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><title>Keywords</title><kwd>biomimetic robotic systems</kwd><kwd>geological exploration</kwd><kwd>rare earth elements</kwd><kwd>minimization of environmental damage</kwd><kwd>gentle drilling technologies</kwd><kwd>bioinspired sensors</kwd><kwd>sustainable subsurface use</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><title>Ключевые слова</title><kwd>биомиметические роботизированные системы</kwd><kwd>геологоразведка</kwd><kwd>редкоземельные элементы</kwd><kwd>минимизация экологического ущерба</kwd><kwd>щадящие технологии бурения</kwd><kwd>биоинспирированные сенсоры</kwd><kwd>устойчивое недропользование</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group>
