Abstract

The efficiency of hydraulic excavators in extreme temperature conditions is a critically important problem in modern construction engineering. Temperature influences have a significant impact on the rheological characteristics of hydraulic system fluids, which directly affects the performance of boom equipment. The research is aimed at developing a comprehensive methodology for optimizing hydraulic parameters, taking into account temperature factors affecting the viscosity-temperature properties of working media. In the course of experimental studies, hydraulic systems of excavators of various sizes were analyzed at temperatures from - 40^{\circ}C to +60^{\circ}C The comprehensive analysis included measuring the dynamic and kinematic viscosity of hydraulic fluids, determining power loss coefficients, and evaluating the efficiency of the boom mechanism. The results showed that a 10% deviation of the operating temperature of the hydraulic fluid from the optimal range leads to an increase in energy losses by 3-12%. Optimization of the parameters made it possible to increase the energy efficiency of hydraulic systems by 18-26% and reduce component wear by 15-20%. The developed control algorithms provide adaptive correction of operating parameters in real time depending on the operating temperature conditions. The practical significance of the study lies in the possibility of significantly improving the operational reliability and energy efficiency of construction machinery in various climatic conditions, which is especially important for regions with a sharply continental climate.
