Abstract

The modern mining industry is facing a double challenge: the need to increase production efficiency while reducing the environmental burden on the regions of presence. The integration of closed-loop robotic systems represents a promising approach to solving this problem through the formation of a new industrial paradigm, especially relevant for the construction aspects of mining infrastructure. This study is devoted to the development and testing of a comprehensive model of sustainable development based on the optimization of production chains through the robotization of key processes and the introduction of the principles of circular economy. The methodological basis of the work is a system analysis using mathematical modeling, which includes a multifactorial assessment of environmental, economic and infrastructural indicators in mining regions. The empirical base of the study covers 27 enterprises from five regions of Russia with different geological and climatic conditions, analyzed in the period 2019-2023. The results demonstrate that the introduction of closed-loop robotic systems into the construction and operation of infrastructure can achieve a 26.4% reduction in resource consumption, a 31.7% reduction in waste, and a 19.8% increase in energy efficiency. The developed methodology for assessing the sustainability of infrastructure solutions makes it possible to predict the dynamics of territorial development with an accuracy of 87.3%. The conducted research forms the theoretical and methodological basis for the transformation of approaches to the design and construction of mining infrastructure in accordance with the principles of sustainable development.
